Management students’ success celebrated

The Department of Management recently celebrated the excellence of its student body at their annual awards night.

Head of the Department of Management, Professor Julie Wolfram Cox congratulated all the students.

"The awards are a wonderful way to acknowledge the achievement of those who have dared to aspire and who have had the commitment to strive to achieve those aspirations," Professor Wolfram Cox said.

"The success of our management students is a reflection of their hard work and the dedication of the teaching staff in the department."

The keynote speaker for the night was alumna Dr Katie Spearritt (PhDBusEco 1998), the founder and CEO of Diversity Partners, a leading professional services firm specialising in diversity and cultural change in Australia and Asia.

Dr Spearritt shared some of the highs and lows of her career journey and how mindful leadership had helped her take advantage of opportunities.

The success of our management students is a reflection of their hard work and the dedication of the teaching staff in the department.
