About this Event
This event marked the World Day Against the Death Penalty and to the launch of Eleos Justice on Thursday 8 October via Zoom Webinar.
Eleos Justice a unique collaboration between Monash Law and the Capital Punishment Justice Project. Our Initiative began in 2018 when the Monash Anti-Death Penalty Clinic was established. Over the last two years, Monash law students have provided assistance to human rights advocates, lawyers, and civil society organisations working to restrict and to end the death penalty in the Asian region. Our vision is to become the region’s leading hub for evidence-based research, teaching, and advocacy.
