Law and global entrepreneurship in global legal education

This presentation will examine the rise of Business Law Clinics (BLCs) that represent small and micro businesses, nonprofit organizations and social enterprises, expanding the clinical experience beyond the courtroom to the boardroom. It will explore how BLCs serve students, communities and the legal profession, why they are growing in some countries, the similarities and differences between BLCs and their unique pedagogical and programmatic features such as collaboration as a lawyering skill, business counseling and risk management.
