Nancy Maurer

Nancy Maurer is a Professor at Albany Law School where she directs the Field Placement and Pro Bono Scholars programs and teaches courses in Negotiating for Lawyers and Legal Issues in Medicine. She is an editor of Learning From Practice: A Text For Experiential Legal Education, 3d Ed. She is also an editor of the NYS Bar Association book series Disability Law And Practice. Prior to joining the Albany Law faculty, Professor Maurer practiced with Neighborhood Legal Services in Charleston, South Carolina and later served as staff attorney for NYS Commission on Quality of Care and Advocacy for People with Disabilities.
