Student well-being in clinical programs

Students participating in the Monash clinical program participate in a community engagement project for which they are assessed. In 2018 a number of students have been involved in a project focusing on student well-being. Students explored different aspects of well-being with a view to transforming their own awareness into a research agenda. The project began as a ‘cake club’ and expanded as research into the identification and management of student stress. This presentation showcases the work that students have commenced and how the research has developed.

The aim of this research is to develop strategies to be implemented within the clinical program and provide transferable skills for students within the legal profession and beyond.
