High quality supervision
Learn about the recent changes made to the graduate research supervision framework
Monash University’s commitment to research excellence means that every graduate research student is guided by at least two suitably qualified supervisors who are actively engaged in their area of research.
We are constantly improving the quality of our research supervision. Since July 2012, main supervisors working at Monash University have to attain accreditation to supervise graduate research students.
This emphasis on accreditation also fits with our commitment to standards set by Australia's Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), which expects research supervisors to be active researchers.
