In a few lines, tell us about your work and how it will impact the world or solve a challenge.
I work for the Government of Bangladesh. My main job responsibility revolves around appraisal and approval of different development projects of the government and formulation of key national policies which are aligned with national regulations and international commitment. The Government of Bangladesh received a UN award for its remarkable achievements in attaining the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), particularly in reducing child mortality rate. And now the Government of Bangladesh has shifted its focus to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Therefore, as a member of the policy hub of Bangladesh, I will try to carry forward the knowledge gained from my Master’s course and implement it through effective policy making for the achievement of SDGs and leave a greener planet for my future generation.
