Warwick Virtual Exchange
Bringing the UK to you
The world has changed. And we’ve learned how important technology is in bringing people together.
We understand though - you still want global exposure and experiences, so that you can become part of a wider international community.
As a leading global university, we’re in the unique position to be able to deliver international opportunities and experiences with our UK partner, the University of Warwick, through this new virtual exchange program.
We’ve designed an innovative virtual study program with an inspiring curriculum taught by highly regarded academics from the University of Warwick.
These new online modules (units) will be delivered in short intensive blocks during May, June and July 2021, and will challenge you to examine your work from an international perspective.
As part of the wider Alliance Intensive Study Program, you will enhance your global network by developing new international connections.
This program has been designed to bring the UK to you, and will give you the confidence to learn from an international university where, one day, you might like to experience a student exchange when international travel resumes.
The student experience
You can still participate in international learning experiences by taking part in new online study programs.
Working with academics from the University of Warwick, you’ll gain access to new global perspectives and learn to look beyond your own experience to understand the interconnectedness of the wider world.
Learn collaboratively with students from across Monash and the University of Warwick through innovative, active learning, and gain new employability skills relevant for today’s globalised world.
You’ll consider new ideas, apply theory to real world issues working in teams and individually, and develop new networks, connections and friendships.
This program will challenge your thinking, develop your confidence and open up a world of new opportunities.

Sean Mulcahy, Monash Alumnus
“I engaged in a number of activities with the University of Warwick during my time at Monash. As a result of my experience, I was able to explore my research from an international perspective through connecting with leading academics and fellow researchers across continents, developing friendships with fellow students throughout the globe, and opening up employment opportunities abroad within my field of research. Engaging with the University of Warwick compelled me to challenge myself, look beyond my own experience, and develop my personal confidence and intercultural understanding. I now have a network of global connections - friends, researchers and potential employers.”

Yu Yu Marip, Juris Doctor
"I've been fortunate enough to engage in various activities with students from the University of Warwick. These experiences have been very personal and valuable to me as I joined to initially challenge myself and to step outside my comfort zone. The program I participated in enabled me to work alongside different individuals with great minds from different cultural backgrounds and academics. Despite our difference and experiences, we all came together to create a common project of our passion. The experience made me more confident in myself, to put myself in more uncomfortable situations and helped me with my personal growth."
