The Environmental Geochemistry Experimental Laboratory is used for wet chemistry experiments and geochemical analyses. It is equipped with standard environmental control systems, pumps and reagents for low-temperature mineral synthesis and mineral behaviour experiments.
It houses an InXitu Terra portable X-ray Diffraction/X-ray Fluorescence Analyser, a Hach portable spectrophotometer, portable multi probes for field based analysis of natural waters, and equipment for water and sediment sampling.
